Question: Is it possible to create the “ideal step” using these rules.

We could obey rules A and B.

Rule B could be written as 2h + p = 60 where h equals height and p = platform length.

If we set p as 25 we get 2h + 25 = 60 . So 2h = 35 so h = 17.5cm.

Does this obey rule C?

1.6 x 17.5 = 28, which is pretty close to the platform length of 25!
